Safety for everyone, emergency response for all | Jumper Technology conducts fire emergency drills to build a strong safety and fire prevention wall
June 2023 marks the 22nd National "Safety Production Month," with this year's theme being "Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response." To respond to the call of the safety management department, strengthen the understanding and awareness of fire safety knowledge among the staff of the company's production base—the Time Mine Machinery Park—enhance fire safety awareness, master fire-fighting techniques, and possess self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities, improve the ability to respond to emergencies, and be familiar with fire safety knowledge and equipment operation methods; in the event of a fire, employees can calmly take various remedial measures, skillfully and accurately use various fire-fighting equipment and extinguishing methods, and quickly carry out rescue and evacuation work. On the morning of June 2nd, at approximately 9:00 AM, Jumper Technology organized management personnel, safety officers, and on-site workshop personnel from various departments to conduct a fire emergency drill. The aim is to ensure that employees can achieve "smooth response, correct command, swift action, and proper handling" in the face of emergencies through this fire drill, enhancing their ability to respond to and prevent production safety accidents, and building a solid fire safety firewall.

In this fire emergency drill, positions such as emergency group leader, deputy leader, emergency group members, and drill recorders were set up.
Personnel arrangement for each position
2) Emergency Group Members: Huang Zhenjie, Li Zhengwei, Huang Yang, Wang Yuxiang, Gan Jian
3) Drill Recorder: Song Haiyan
This fire emergency drill simulated a sudden fire in a certain area of the park due to improper operation by a welder causing a short circuit, with heavy smoke filling the scene. The fire emergency leadership team organized personnel evacuation and fire extinguishing. The drill included three phases:
02 Fire Equipment Use
03 Summary Meeting
Evacuation Drill
1) After receiving the fire alarm in the park, the safety emergency leader immediately organized the safety emergency group to deploy emergency work;
2) The safety emergency leader urgently announced the activation of the "Fire Emergency Plan" and launched emergency evacuation and fire extinguishing work;
3) Members of the safety emergency group urgently evacuated all personnel from the factory and implemented emergency measures
① Deputy leader Yang Zhuolin was responsible for evacuating personnel from the office area to the assembly area and notifying office personnel
② Huang Zhenjie was responsible for evacuating company personnel and visiting clients from the testing area to the assembly area and bringing out the company's medical kit (simulation)
③ Li Zhengwei was responsible for evacuating personnel from the warehouse area to the assembly area, locking the warehouse door, and cutting off the power to the warehouse area (simulation)
④ Huang Yang was responsible for evacuating resting employees from the dormitory area to the assembly area
⑤ Wang Yuxiang was responsible for evacuating employees from the production area to the assembly area
⑥ Gan Jian was responsible for turning off the power to the corresponding park main electrical cabinet after shutting down the machines under debugging (simulation)
4) Emergency group members organized the evacuation of personnel, guiding factory employees to the safe location (open space in the yard) at the safety exit, and then checking the number of personnel to determine if anyone remained at the fire scene;

Methods and Precautions
1. In the event of a fire, report it as quickly and accurately as possible to avoid delaying firefighting. Clearly state the specific location and floor of the fire, and if possible, describe the specific objects, types, and extent of the fire.
2. If the fire is not large, you can wet a blanket or quilt, wrap it around yourself, and rush out of the fire. Do this decisively; do not hesitate, as the fire may grow larger, and you may miss the chance to escape.
3. If you are trapped and there is a lot of smoke, the smoke contains a large amount of toxic and harmful gases. If you are not prepared, you will be knocked down by the toxic and harmful smoke. You must rush out of the smoke area. Use a wet towel to cover your nose and mouth, and try to stay low to the ground to reduce smoke inhalation and avoid poisoning.
4. If the building has a refuge room or fire escape, you can take shelter in the refuge room or use the fire escape to evacuate to a safe place.
5. In the case of a fire in a multi-story building, if the stairs are burned or the fire is quite fierce, you can use the building's skylights, balconies, downpipes, or other securely grounded objects to escape.
6. If your life is threatened and there is no escape route, you can use a rope or tear bedsheets into strips to connect them, tie one end to a fixed object, and slide down the rope or strips.
7. If you are in a desperate situation and decide to jump from a building, you can first throw some clothes and blankets to the ground to increase cushioning, then slide down while holding the windowsill to reduce the falling height, and try to land on your feet to save your life.
8. If you are on a higher floor and cannot jump from the building, stay indoors, close the doors and windows leading to the fire area, and if possible, pour water on the doors and windows to slow the spread of the fire. At this time, take all measures, such as calling or throwing objects, to send a distress signal to people downstairs to gain a chance of rescue.
Fire Equipment Use
Step 2: Another person uses a wrench to open the fire hydrant screw, connects the hose buckle to the fire hydrant outlet, turns the valve handle to open the fire hydrant valve (before opening the valve, lay the hose flat and do not fold it, otherwise, you may be injured by the flying hose when the valve is opened. If the water pressure is high, two people are needed to control one fire hose).

Following the fire drill and the use of fire equipment, the team leader and safety officers of the emergency response team participated in a post-drill summary meeting. At the meeting, participants listened to professionals review escape methods and the correct selection and use of fire equipment, and exchanged ideas and discussed questions related to their work or daily life.

This fire drill expanded employees' knowledge of fire safety, comprehensively reviewed the company's ability to handle emergency incidents such as fires, and enhanced the safety awareness of all employees. Jumper Technology will always keep a tight focus on "safety production," adhering to the principle of "everyone talks about safety, everyone knows how to respond to emergencies." In production work, we will prioritize life, health, and safety, strictly implement the park's and company's safety production regulations, make safety production responsibilities concrete, establish a firm safety development concept, and ensure high-quality production and development with high standards.
